Merry Christmas!

Well Jesus was born a few years ago Today. As told by Elton John in the song Levon!

Everyone knows the story.... but what we forgot to mention was how nervous Mary was 'cause she had to bring ham sandwiches to the "pot luck" at her sister's and she wanted them to be perfect. Joseph forgot his suit at the dry cleaner (which was obviously closed on the 25th) and the 3 wisemen actually made 2 trips to see Jesus since 2 of them bought the same gift!

Okay, enough of this!

Merry Christmas and I hope you didn't go into too much debt for that one day!

The God that failed.

It's Christmas eve and my faith in God is surely not growing stronger.

Since yesterday morning, i'm asking myself why.
Why would somebody be taken away from his familly like that?
Why so young? so healthy? Such a good human being, with stong familly values?
I'm sure a lot of people are asking the same questions for their own relatives/friends people around the world.
I'm just thinking that if the God i'm suppose to worship is capable of breaking famillies like that, i'd rather not worship him at all.

Tony, we love you and you'll be missed!

Swing, swing, swing

OK, so we now make it legal to be able to screw around but we soon will have to change from Merry Christmas to Happy non-event December 25th?

I love Canada !!!!

Ah, to be young again...

Today would have meant I would be playing out all day!

We got 40 cm of snow here and stupid people (like me) went to work, bright ones stayed home and kids played outside all day!

Heres another link with pics.

The river

songs playing this week... One in particular that I LOVE
The River by Bruce Springsteen, makes me feel sad but I also love the factthat I have these images of the song in my head when I listen to it.

I come from down in the valleywhere mister when you're young

They bring you up to do like your daddy done
Me and Mary we met in high schoolwhen she was just seventeen
We'd ride out of that valley down to where the fields were green
We'd go down to the riverAnd into the river we'd dive
Oh down to the river we'd ride
Then I got Mary pregnantand man that was all she wrote
And for my nineteenth birthday I got a union card and a wedding coat
We went down to the courthouseand the judge put it all to rest
No wedding day smiles no walk down the aisle
No flowers no wedding dressThat night we went down to the river
And into the river we'd dive
Oh down to the river we did ride
I got a job working construction for the Johnstown Company
But lately there ain't been much work on account of the economy
Now all them things that seemed so important
Well mister they vanished right into the air
Now I just act like I don't remember
Mary acts like she don't care
But I remember us riding in my brother's car
Her body tan and wet down at the reservoir
At night on them banks I'd lie awake
And pull her close just to feel each breath she'd take
Now those memories come back to haunt me
they haunt me like a curse
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true
Or is it something worse
that sends me down to the river
though I know the river is dry
That sends me down to the river tonight
Down to the rivermy baby and I
Oh down to the river we ride

An idea that Quebec can follow.

I think this is a great idea.
Take something from kids that they want to make sure they stay in school.
Might see less Honda civic with purple neons on the road!

Charity is a coat you wear twice a year.

I've never been asked for so much than this period of the year.
Make 20 famillies eat for only 20$, save kids for 10$, give to food banks please give this, or that.

I'm all in favor of helping but why is it only around Christmas, no one is starving in July?
People are too buzy with they vacations?
Instead of helping out others from December 1st to 31st, why not give or do a little throughout the year? I'm sure people would appreciate it.

You spin me round!

So we're going to vote (again) in January!
It is apparently a tactic of some sort to disorient the actual government and bla bla bla sorry, i'm already sleeping.
One thing I know is that we'll spend a S%&? load of money for nothing;

In Quebec, we'll vote Bloc Party (who will never be enough to be elected as a majority, obviously).
Since Mulroney left, there's no direction whatsoever ( or a good idea) pour les conservateurs.
No one knows NPD, the only thing we know is that Mr. Layton likes to party!?!?

So guess what, comes February, we'll still be stuck with Liberals in a minority role.

Thanks for putting my money somewhere it doesn't belong!
